The registration process in MANU is easy and straightforward. First of all, you need to decide on your username, which will be visible to other users through your profile page.
In the Name column, fill in your real name. It will be used to sign your annotations (if the collection turns this feature on), and it will be visible on your profile and while collaborating.
Your email is hidden and is used only for communication from MANU, which will consist only of authentication-related messages. In the future, we might introduce an occasional newsletter or updates from other users, but these features will be opt-in.
Your institution will be shown on your profile (if you decide so) and in annotations signed by your name. Other than that, it does not have real value.
Last but not least, choose a strong password that you’ll remember.
After hitting the [ Register ] button, you’ll be redirected back to the login page and receive an email confirming successful registration.
