In the settings section, you can configure basic options that affect how your manuscript is displayed. While the current settings offer a limited selection, this page will gradually expand to include a full range of options already available in Manu. We're excited to enhance this feature and provide you with even more customization possibilities in the future!

This page is thoughtfully divided into three distinct sections to help you navigate with ease:

The General Settings section lets you modify the basics, such as the title and description of your manuscript. These options are currently visible only on the dashboard but will soon be implemented in the editor view as well.
Additionally, you can adjust the appearance of the manuscript page. Although this is currently limited to changing the background color, it allows you to choose a color that complements your images. For instance, if your images have a black background, a grey one might be distracting—feel free to pick any color that suits your needs.
Lastly, there's a "danger zone" where you can delete a manuscript, but only if it was imported from an external IIIF source.

In the Collaborators section, you can easily see who has access to your manuscript and make modifications to fit your needs. You have two options for managing access:
This flexibility ensures you can collaborate effectively and share your work with the right people.

At present, all users you add have the same permissions as the owner, allowing them to modify everything on the settings page. This also applies to users within an organization. This setup ensures that everyone involved can contribute fully and collaborate seamlessly on your manuscript.
In the future, this behavior will be adjusted to provide manuscript owners with more granular control over settings. This enhancement will allow you to tailor permissions more precisely, ensuring that each collaborator has the appropriate level of access to your manuscript.
