To ensure that your annotations and manuscripts are kept private and secure, Manu requires user registration. This way, only you can access your work unless you choose to share it with others.
Manu is still being developed, so it currently opens with a simple sign-in or registration form instead of a fully designed welcome page. If you're returning to Manu, you might want to visit the Signing in page. If you're new and need to register, just stay on this page and click the [Register] button.
I've kept the registration form straightforward and easy to use. Once you click the [Register] button, simply fill in the fields on the page that appears, and you'll be all set!
Username: This is your unique identifier, allowing other users to find you.
Name: Please enter your real name. Don't worry, there's no way for me to verify it! 🙂
Email: Your email address will be used for future communications, like password resets.
Institution: The place where you work or study. Password: Choose a password that's both secure and easy for you to remember!
Once you've completed the form fields, click the [Register] button again. You'll be redirected to the login page, where you can sign in using your chosen username and password.
Once you log in to the app, you'll be greeted by your dashboard. You'll find a manuscript called Exploration project waiting for you, where you can explore and try out all the features Manu has to offer. Give it a go and see what you can create!
